Description

Beth Fairley, a 1982 graduate of Edison High School, whose life was marked by
unwavering dedication to community service despite her battle with Polycystic Kidney
Disease. She was a board member with ECSF, tutored students, provided for
underprivileged youth, and volunteered with numerous organizations, including the
Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Beth Fairley remained dedicated to supporting the Edison Community and Sports
Foundation (ECSF), even if only virtually and through social media, up until her passing in
2024. After being diagnosed with three terminal illnesses, Beth continued to inspire those
around her with her unwavering commitment to community service.
Beth’s life was a testament to the power of selflessness, kindness, commitment and
community. She always gave her time, energy, and resources to those in need and to the
causes she held dear. Her unwavering loyalty made her a beloved friend and a cherished
member of her family. This scholarship, in her memory, seeks to honor students who
reflect these same qualities, ensuring that Beth’s legacy of compassion and dedication
lives on. It aims to help students continue their education and make a positive impact in
their communities, just as Beth did in hers.
Through this scholarship, we hope to continue her legacy of making a positive impact on
the lives of others. This scholarship will be awarded to student(s) who embody Beth’s
spirit of service, leadership, and kindness, ensuring her legacy of giving continues to
inspire future generations.
