Kacheroski, Joseph F. Age 78 of Ft. Myers, FL, passed away Dec. 7, 2020 from complications due to a bacterial infection. Joe wore many hats in his life. He was a high school English teacher in Byron and Brooklyn Center, drama coach, assistant hockey coach, head tennis coach, a CPA in Woodbury, vice president of the Minnesota Association of Public Accountants, a Rotarian, and also an avid Gopher hockey and Minnesota Wild fan. Joe was preceded in death by his mother Julia, father Frank, and brother James. Joe is survived by his wife of 49 years Sue, son Dick, daughter Ann Wilkerson (Mike), his brothers Jerry (Pat), Gene (Ruth), Frank (Debbie), and Tom (Teresa), and sisters Rosie Uphus (Joe), Mary Jo Engstrom (John), and Cindy Janssen (Mike), 7 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Joe loved life and nothing was more important to him than his family and family gatherings. A virtual service will be held on Dec 11.
