2020 Niles Schulz Scholarship Dinner is Cancelled

We are sorry to report that the 2020 Niles Schulz Scholarship Dinner will not be held this year. Normally the event is in May and we had hoped to postpone until September but now it seems more prudent to not have this year and wait until 2021.

The dinner will be held Monday, May 3rd at the amazing Quincy Hall.  Tickets will go on sale in February. The event will include your choice of dinner, Silent Auction, Wine Raffle and Cash Raffle.
While we will miss seeing you at the dinner, please try to attend the Golf Tournament (Tentatively August 24th) or Indeed We Can event in October (October 21, 2020) at Indeed Brewing.  Both events benefit the great kids at Edison and the Edison Community Sports Foundation.

In the meantime, if you can make a donation to the ECSF, please see the "Donate Now" link to the right of this page, or mail to: Edison Community and Sports Foundation, PO Box 68032, Minneapolis MN 55418.  Our students are suffering during these unprecedented times.  Any donation would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Edison Community Sports Foundation Golf Tournament Golfers,

Columbia golf course has postponed all tournaments for the summer.  There is a possibility that there will be no tournament. However, they left open the possibility that restrictions could loosen at some point over the summer.  Because of this, we’re pushing back the scheduled date from July 27th to August 24th.  We feel that is our last chance to have the tournament this summer.
Because we know this has been and will be a difficult year for some, we’re bringing the cost of the tournament down. This year’s registration fee will be $75 per golfer.   As always, our primary goal is to raise funds for grants to Edison graduates and other school programs.  However, a close second goal is getting the Edison Alumni Family together for a fun event.
The main goal for this message is to let you all know that we are doing everything in our power to have the tournament this year and to keep the communication open as things progress.  We will be doing all of our communication going forward via email.  If you did not receive this message via email, please send a message to edisoncommunitysports@gmail.com with your first and last name and email address.  We will add you to our email list for future communication on details of the tournament.

Thank you for all those who helped make the Niles Schulz

Scholarship Dinner a huge success!

Our Annual May Dinner will be held at the Solar Arts Building on Monday, May 6th. In honor of Niles, we are renaming the dinner to the Niles Schulz Scholarship Dinner. Niles loved attending the event and visiting with former students and athletes. He will be missed at the event but certainly not forgotten.

Tickets will be available in February and can be purchased from an ECSF Board Member or by emailing us at edisoncsf@aol.com

The dinner ticket includes dinner for two, a chance in our cash raffle, Silent Auction, cash bar and other surprises.  If you have Silent Auction items you would like to donate, please email us. We are always looking for items to include.

Be sure to check the Reunion Tab for all summer class reunion information!
