Membership Requirements
The By-Laws of the ECSF state, “The membership of this corporation shall be open to any person interested in student activities in Edison High School who completes and returns an application for membership.” This membership requirement is intended to appeal broadly to all Edison High School supporters as well as graduates. There are no dues or requirements to attend meetings, although members are always welcome to attend the monthly Board of Directors meeting. An annual Membership Meeting is held on the third Tuesday in November “for the election of directors and for the transaction of any other business.”
We believe that by an active and accurate membership roster will help us to continue to give financial support for many varied activities ranging from a choir trip to Florida, neighborhood youth groups, the Eastside Parade, all-school gatherings such as the 85th Anniversary, Edison athletic programs, and our annual scholarship program.
The Board wishes to update it membership roster. We are asking that all people who are interested in being members of the Edison Community Sports Foundation check the membership box on the sign up page.
